Since when is “simple” stuff counted as overrated?
I assume from what you said that guitarists like BBking, jimmi hendrix and mathias jabs are overrated in YOUR opinion since their? stuff is “simple”..

You haven’t seen him live. I have, recently. I don’t know of many guitarists alive who can even touch? him. Unbelievably good.

playing Jeff Beck style without a tremolo? is like playing Jimi Hendrix without a Strat….

There is nothing wrong with simple man. I am not hating. But this is NOT “Next Level” guitar. This is beginning guitar. I am a guitar teacher by the way. ?

No – I will play Jimi Hendrix on my shitty guitar and it will sound just how I want it to sound.
I don’t think music is so elitist that you need to spend loads on really nice instruments when you can still get all the feel of Hendrix into any guitar. If owning a strat is necessary? for playing Jimi Hendrix you are doing something wrong.

man? you can play with whatever you want.
The thing is if someone makes a video titeld “Learn Jeff Beck inspired lead rock..” and there is someone sitting with a Les Paul, than there is clearly something wrong…
Maybe I should change it to:
playing Jeff Beck style without a tremolo is like playing Guitar with a broom…

I think the guitar and the amp, yes, u can sound the way its on your head, but of course, to have the feel of? David Gilmour, you kinda need a delay pedal, or satriani you also need a delay pedal…… I think the delay, its the only extra acessorie that can change your sound or your feel.

Jeff has a full history of playing guitar with no tremolo. Personally I like? his work in the Jeff Beck group’70-’72 and “Blow by Blow” when he used a pick more with that Funk style and hardly any tremolo work. Jeff sure does use the tremolo now. Just think if Jimi had lived on and switched to a Les Paul in ’71!
