Want to improve at guitar quick? Learn these pairs of chords: C major to A minor G major to E minor A major to E major Start out slow, strum at least four times. Then, try adding the correct bass note. By mastering these chords, it will be much easier to learn other chords and you’ll learn a LOT faster. Good luck! Guitar lesson by Brett Sanders

I can make a part 2, the next step is to master the different keys on guitar; the point of this? lesson was more to just get the basic skills to change between some of the most common chords — after that, i’d master the chords from the different major keys in this order: C major, G major, A major, E major, D major … this order is somewhat subjective, but is also logical in terms of difficulty / usefulness. If you’d like, I can make lessons on chords in each of these keys ??

    Here’s a list of all the basic chords you should have mastery over to move into more intermediate? guitar playing : Major chords = C, A, G, E, D, F, B ; Minor chords = Am, Em, Dm, Bm, F#m, C#m ; Dominant 7 Chords = C7, A7, G7, E7, D7, B7 ; Major 7 Chords : Cmaj7, Dmaj7, Amaj7 ; Minor7 Chords = Am7, Em7 …. Also, I’d learn these Sus chords .. Sus2 Chords = Dsus2, Asus2, Csus2 ; Sus4 Chords = Dsus4, Asus4, Csus4 … These are all the basic chords I’d master first, good luck!
