@HelmutVonSphincter Yep, I was getting top dollar. Above the pool in a bachelor apartment – no bedroom, the living room doubled as my lesson studio. That was twenty-eight years ago. I started selling my lessons from there in the rock fan magazines (Cream, Circus, and Hit Parader). Within a year I was living in a 3 level home in Woodland Hills also known as a deluxe apartment in the sky.

Do you have a beginner soloing lesson? I’ve played for many years but do not feel comfortable in the spotlight playing solo
I took some lessons from Doug in about 1983, when he was preparing the very first Metal Method cassettes and b/w booklets. He stressed to me in the first lesson to not ever play without being in tune. That may sound silly to some people, but to a beginner, it was priceless advice that has stuck with me until this day. @ugcx The song is “Tell the Truth” from an album I released in the 80′s. The name of the group was Hawk. There are a few Hawk videos on my channel.
