    ok I just purchased my first guitar today. And I just fucked my fingers, they are paining. Hope they don’t start bleeding. How in the world you play a full song, I couldn’t hold down the chords for 10 seconds .. Aaaeeeeeeee!

    @kozeel dont worry they wont………. it will just hurt on start after lot of playing it wil stop it is normal

    @Ultraman725 do you mean the 12th fret? If you do that is because the 12th fret is the same notes as if you were playing the strings open, except they are an octive higher. I hope this helped.

    @sweetdictator: Well I move between the first and third fret now and noticed the same problem. Am I not holding the strings down hard enough? Am I laying the fingers down like a bridge rather than on individual strings?

    @Ultraman725 Your guitar neck may be slightly warped. I have had that problem on two different guitars.

    Hi, I am confused because diff ppl are teaching diff fingerings for the same chords. eg, for A chord: 2,3,4 (as shown by yourself), or other variations I have seen are 2,1,3 oand even 3,4,5…. ??

    How would you know if it is the perfect sound for a chord??i’m a guitar beginner and im trying to learn the A,D,E,and Em chords at the moment(BTW I PLAY ELECTRIC) when i play them they sound nice some of the time cuz im a beginner. And i’m wondering if it’s the nice sound that it’s suppose to be i can’t seem to trust my chord playing!?! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    your a good teacher but you cant see the strings a lot of the time. So it makes it hard to learn.
