Learn to play rock guitar

i was wondering if you could send me a message on youtube telling me how to properly do a g chord, i know the fingering, but it hurts to play it, is there any other way to play a g chord, easier way but sounds similar or the same? id appreciate it,

Hey GraphicGoons: The Amp I used in this vidoe is a 1966 Fender Pro Reverb. Almost all original with just the filtercaps and the chord changed and two other small capacitors. The Blackface Pro Reverb is one of the best amps ever made! Thanks for watching.
