Best Rock Guitar Riff Ever!

He-man Woman Hater by Nuno Bettencourt is in my opinion the best guitar riff in the history of rock. The amount of thought, dynamic, emotion, and pure rock punch put into this riff is phenomenal. You may disagree, but this is my pick. The recording sounds funny because I used a vocal cut filter. I wanted to emphasize the guitar riff here, not the vocals, drums, bass, or lead playing. Pay particular attention to the stuff Nuno does after 3:30 into the song. It’s pure genius. Please note, you …

Get rock guitar lessons from a true master!

Mustaine and Megadeth always copied each other’s riffs. Battery and Symphony of Destruction, Mechanixxxxx, etc.

No, the Call of Ktulu is a copy of HAngar 18 by megadeth. They’ve both got that ascending chromatic D minor sequence that Mustaine wrote.

I don’t know, man. If you play them side by side, they are pretty similar. I’ve had this debate before with people. Maybe it’s not a total ripoff, but it’s enough to make me roll my eyes anyway. Just my opinion.

They sound completly different, and you have to admit that the whole song is just made out of great riffs by the amazing Darrell Dimebag R.I.P.
The amount of thought, dynamic, emotion, and pure Metal punch put into that riff is phenomenal.

Cemetery Gates is just a rip of of Call of Cthulu by Metallica. Not sure why people keep raving about it.
